Benefits of Pilates
Pilates is a safe and effective set of exercises designed to improve physical strength, flexibility, and posture. It is suitable for everyone including seniors, athletes, limited mobility, pregnant women and people undergoing injury rehabilitation. Pilates lengthens and stretches all the major muscle groups in the body in a balanced fashion. It improves flexibility, strength, balance and body awareness. Pilates will focus on your breathing and positions, so don't expect to get sweaty or out of breath. There are a variety of exercises which are a repeated in reps of 5 to 10. Classes can be 45 to 60 minutes. Pilates resistance exercises are done using special equipment called Reformer or Mat work using bodyweight.

Personal Training and Pilates sessions offer value for money. Because, we believe there is no such thing as a “one size fits all” training session, we like to focus on the person and not the training alone. Our training approach centres on creating a completely personalised program that revolves around you; built on a deep understanding of your motivations, unique goals, and tailored to support you in achieving them. In these sessions you will receive your own personalised program, learn how to perform movements and exercises correctly, as well as be provided with guidance and support for your individual needs such as injury, rehabilitation, lifestyle and nutrition. As you progress, so does your program, with follow up sessions continuing to develop as your fitness, strength, mobility and flexibility improves. This progressive training approach will keep you accountable and provide motivation to practice and develop healthy lifelong habits, to achieve and maintain long term health and fitness goals.
